With over three decades of service in emergency response, my career has been grounded in a deep commitment to public safety. I began in the field as an EMT, responding to 911 calls and gaining firsthand experience in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. Driven to expand my capabilities, I advanced to the role of paramedic, providing advanced life support in critical situations. My dedication led me to become a firefighter, where I spent years working side-by-side with multidisciplinary teams, managing everything from structure fires to disaster response. Over these formative years, I’ve learned that in crisis situations, there’s rarely a perfect choice—just the better of two bad decisions. That judgment, honed through thousands of calls, has become one of my most valuable tools. Today, I bring that same level of focus, leadership, and operational discipline to my role as a Safety Officer on Incident Support Teams (IST) and with FEMA. My mission is to help organizations prepare for the worst while operating at their best—through safety training, compliance consulting, and boots-on-the-ground risk mitigation rooted in real-world experience.
